Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Toy Cars

Do you remember a time when toy cars were big and bulky, took hours to recharge, and only went for a couple minutes without dying?
Me too, and let me say, the toy cars of my day were never as cool and high-tech as this.
All these toy cars are powered by WATER! No emissions, no hours spent recharging batteries. Just fill it up in the sink and you’re ready to go.

Fuel Cell Car Science Kit
This car is completely run off water, fill up the two tanks and you’re ready to go.
This car has another really cool technology in it as well, it detects and avoids objects in it’s path!
This is a great toy car, and it helps to teach about sustainable energy.
It retails for about $75.
H-Racer & Hydrogen Fuel Station
This one looks sooo much cooler than the previous one.
It also runs completely on water, using it’s hydrogen fuel cell.
This also comes with a hydrogen fuel station for easy re-fueling, no batteries to run out!
This one retails for around $100
Fuel Cell Car and Experiment Kit
The most high-tech of the three I found, this one uses both hydrogen fuel cell technology and solar-cell technology.
This kit contains 30 different experiments and is recommended for both personal or classroom uses.
The solar-cell is used in converting the water into hydrogen gas, which is then used for fuel.
This one retails for around $140.

All of these are great toys and great way to experiment with hydrogen power and power cells, nevermind never having to recharge a battery!

How is this supposed to work, anyway? A hydrogen fuel cell produces water as a byproduct, it doesn’t run on water…
