As the (GRD) great republican depression slowly grinds away at American incomes, we can expect a migration towards the cheapest to operate LED lights. People are moving to shanty towns, where 'make do' and 'make it yourself' are the rules. They can be convinced that one LED light that runs cheap and for a long time is better than a few incandescents they cannot afford. The big market is the folks trying off-grid living, with solar/electrics and or windmills. This crowd is growing quickly as the GRD causes unemployment and unrest in the cities. For the average home owner, we wait until the CFLs retire, then hope to replace with LEDs if we have the cash!
