The color that covers the terracotta started peeling 2 days after I got the product (the weak point was the friction of the top and bottom pieces) and the water level was reflected by a distinct darkening shade on the outside of the tank… So sorry folks, I would go elsewhere for my purifying needs. It is important to remember that positive change can only be noticed if the majority of the popolation decided to make a change in our lifestlyes.
