It’s Blog Action Day!

Is it October 15th already? Well you know what that means, it’s Blog Action Day!

This year blog action day is encouraging blogs everywhere to post on a topic concerning the environment, hoping enough voices can make a difference. Climate change, alternative energy, deforestation, there’s a whole array of things to post on.

Well being an environmentally-focused blog, we’re participating as well, and we’re going to be on the hunt for some great green posts from other blogs as well. If you have any favorites from today, send them this way! We’ll post about them here.

We’re getting a bit late start today, but we’ll be going all evening, showing off some great green technology, and posting some thoughts on a whole bunch of environmental issues.

Just a note, I’ve been away from blogging for about a week, and just want to say thanks to those who’ve stuck around. Just before Canadian thanksgiving last weekend, a power failure and a dead battery managed to destroy my Windows Vista partition leaving me with ubuntu as a backup. Ubuntu is fantastic as an OS, but unfortunately very poor support for Broadcom wireless cards left me with non-existent wireless internet reception. A busy week left me little time to fix the problem, but I’ve got it done now and I’m back in a fresh Vista install. Expect regular posts starting today. Thanks again to those who stayed subscribed through this post-less week!
